I have worked in Dumfries and Galloway since 1993 and joined the practice in 1998. My special interests are coronary heart disease, general medicine, accident and emergency, immediate care, asthma and sports medicine.

I joined as a partner in 2003. I work part time (6 sessions per week). My interests are men’s health, minor surgery and asthma. I offer contraceptive implant fitting.

I came to Dumfries in 1993 to train as a GP and have worked in Dumfries & Galloway in a number of practices since then. I work part time in the practice (5 sessions per week). My special interests are psychiatry, ENT and women’s health.

Linda has a wide range of nursing abilities. She has developed her skills in Travel Health, Cervical Cytology, Family Planning and Sexual Health, COPD, IHD and Asthma. Linda also assists GP’s with contraceptive implant fittings/removals and minor surgery.

Barbara provides two clinics each week. Services include blood pressure checks, blood sampling, ear syringing, B12 injections, height and weight measurement.

Emma is a First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) who specialises in Musculoskeletal conditions - muscles, bones and joints - and is with us each Friday.

Emma works closely with your GP/ANP and will liaise with them about your care.  She can assess you and diagnose what's happening;  give expert advice on how best to manage your condition;  refer you for further treatment, investigations or specialist services if required.

You don't need to see another member of the clinical staff before you see her.  If you're ringing to book an appointment regarding muscle, bone or joint conditions, just mention it to the receptionist and they can book you in with Emma directly.
